What I find a little bit hilarious - someone already put up ‘pre-Counties’ photos on Facebook and in my boredom I looked at the first one. You know the one; that hideous group shot where everyone has red-eye, standing awkwardly in profile? But really, everyone tries to find the shortest, tightest, spaghetti-strappy-est dress and they all just end up looking lumpy.
So I’m making a promise to myself: If I ever go to a school-sponsored dance, I’m going to wear something floor-length with straps that follow that old middle school rule (at least an inch wide, I think?) and a top that fits well, not something that’s a few sizes too small and makes everything about you look silicon-enhanced.
